1. Introduction
Welcome to CapeDrop (the "Website"), operated by CapeDrop ("CapeDrop," "we," "us," or "our"). By accessing or using this Website, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms and Conditions (the "Terms"). If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use the Website.
2. Definitions
"User" or "you" means any individual or entity accessing or using the Website.
"Product" means a redeemable Minecraft cape code offered for sale on the Website.
"Redeemed" means a code has been delivered to you following purchase. A delivered code will not be considered successfully fulfilled if it is proven to be invalid, already used prior to delivery, defective, or otherwise unable to be redeemed through no fault of your own.
"Preorder" means a Product purchased before the corresponding code is available for immediate delivery, with fulfillment expected by the date or time period stated on the relevant product page.
3. Use of the Website
By using the Website, you agree to:
provide accurate and complete information when requested;
abide by all applicable local, state, national, and international laws and regulations;
refrain from using the Website for any unlawful or fraudulent purpose;
not use bots, scrapers, or automated tools to access the Website, bypass security measures such as rate limits or anti-bot challenges, or buy up stock; and
not initiate fraudulent chargebacks or payment disputes for codes that were validly delivered. We may dispute such chargebacks with evidence of delivery, and we may refuse future service to anyone who abuses the payment process.
4. Intellectual Property
CapeDrop does not claim ownership of Minecraft, Mojang, Microsoft, or any official Minecraft cape designs, names, trademarks, or related intellectual property. All original CapeDrop website content, branding, graphics, product presentation, edited images, promotional materials, and custom artwork are owned by CapeDrop unless otherwise stated. Some visuals may be based on publicly available or open-source cape textures, but CapeDrop only claims rights to its original edits, formatting, presentation, and creative work. You may not copy or use CapeDrop's content without written permission.
5. Promotion and Resale Disclosure
CapeDrop sells redeemable Minecraft cape codes that may originate from third-party promotions, events, or limited-time cape distributions. CapeDrop is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or officially connected to Minecraft, Mojang, Microsoft, or any event organizer or promotion provider.
You understand that the resale of promotional cape codes may exist in a legal or policy grey area. While CapeDrop does not believe the resale of unused cape codes is strictly prohibited by the Minecraft EULA or Microsoft Services Agreement, certain event organizers, promotion providers, or third-party distributors may discourage, restrict, or disallow resale. These rules may vary by promotion and may not always be clearly or consistently enforced. CapeDrop guarantees that the code delivered will be valid and working at the time of delivery, subject to the replacement and refund protections below.
6. Product Purchase and Non-Refundable Policy
6.1 Purchase Terms. All orders placed through the Website are subject to acceptance and availability. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order at our discretion, for example where we suspect fraud, where a pricing or listing error has occurred, or where stock is unavailable. If an order is canceled before delivery, you will receive a full refund of the amount paid.
6.2 Faulty or Invalid Codes. If a code delivered by CapeDrop is invalid, already redeemed before delivery, defective, or otherwise cannot be redeemed through no fault of your own, we will replace it at no additional cost. If we are unable to provide a working replacement within a reasonable time, you are entitled to a full refund of the price paid for that Product. To claim a replacement or refund, contact support@capedrop.net with your order details. We may ask for reasonable evidence of the problem, such as a screenshot of the error shown on the redemption page, before issuing a replacement.
6.3 Final Sale Policy. Because cape codes are digital products whose full value is transferred on delivery, all sales are final once a working code has been delivered. This does not limit your right to a replacement or refund under section 6.2.
Once a working code has been delivered, we are not responsible for issues caused by your own actions, including entering the code incorrectly, redeeming it on the wrong account, sharing the code with someone else who redeems it, losing access to your Minecraft or Microsoft account, or failing to follow the redemption instructions. Keep your code private until you redeem it; if it is subsequently redeemed by someone else after delivery, we cannot take responsibility, and no refund or replacement is available in that case, without limiting your rights under section 6.2 for a code that was already invalid or already redeemed at the time of delivery.
6.4 Preorder Policy. Preorder Products will be fulfilled by the date or time period stated on the relevant product page. If we are unable to fulfill a preorder within that period, you are entitled to a full refund for that preorder unless you choose to continue waiting.
7. Payment and Pricing
All prices displayed on the Website are in U.S. dollars and are subject to change without notice; changes do not affect orders already placed. Payment is required at the time of purchase, through our third-party payment processor. We never see or store your full card details. You agree to pay all charges incurred in connection with your order.
8. Delivery
8.1 Digital Product Delivery. Cape codes are digital products and are delivered by email to the address you provide at checkout, normally instantly following successful payment. It is your responsibility to enter accurate contact and order information, to review your order details before purchasing, and to check your spam or junk folder if a code does not arrive promptly. If your code is not delivered within a reasonable time after payment, contact us at support@capedrop.net and we will resolve it.
8.2 Customer Redemption Responsibility. Once a working code has been delivered, CapeDrop is not responsible for issues caused by customer error, including but not limited to entering the code incorrectly, redeeming it on the wrong account, losing access to your Minecraft or Microsoft account, or failing to follow the redemption instructions.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, CapeDrop shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Website or its Products, including any errors or omissions in the content provided. Our total liability to you in connection with any order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. We are not responsible for the acts or omissions of Mojang or Microsoft, including changes to their services, account suspensions, or the availability of a cape after you have successfully redeemed it.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless CapeDrop, its members, officers, and agents from any claims, damages, liabilities, or expenses, including reasonable legal fees, arising out of your use of the Website or breach of these Terms.
11. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms, and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them, the Website, or any purchase made through the Website, shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Wyoming, United States of America, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
You agree that any legal action or proceeding arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of the Website shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in the State of Wyoming, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction and venue of such courts. Nothing in this section limits any mandatory consumer protection rights you may have under the laws of your country of residence.
12. Changes to Terms and Conditions
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Your continued use of the Website after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
